Tips for the S132 HYP® 50/50 Heather Ringer T-Shirts
Shooting from the "hip"
One of the biggest debates here is if HYP is pronounced as "hip" or "hype." Even though you may have heard the official answer, my comment is "don't believe the HYPE." Of course, it would be solved if American Apparel had a men's ringer, but on to the shirt...
The Hyp Ringer matches well with the American Apparel women's ringer tee. The colors aren't exact matches, but are close enough.
How come these cost so much more than standard tees? I wish they cost the same, because we really like them. We use these and the American Apparel shirts for some of coolest looking shirts. They are made really well and are exactly the style and colors people are looking for when they want the vintage ringer style.
However if cost is a major concern, try the Anvil ringer tees. You can save a few bucks per shirt, although they don't come in the cool colors.
